Every start-up has a story. Ours began when we worked together in the education sector.

Managing marketing and communications in the highly competitive higher education landscape, we were often looking to outsource content, PR, media buying, design, digital and print projects to companies that could understand our brand, tone of voice and house style, deliver on time and to quality, and fit our budgets.

Our choice was the big bucks agencies, or the solo marketers and designers – both presenting their own challenges of high cost and less personalised service for the former, and fragmented products and being time-consuming for the latter.

We always talked about how great it would be to work with a single product and service provider.

Over time the idea crystalized, and in 2018, we started The Loop, an integrated marketing, communications, branding, PR and design agency.

The Loop works as an outsourced products and services provider in these five areas – offering both strategic and tactical solutions.

Naheed is a marketing and communications professional with two decades of work experience in creating and implementing strategic, result-driven marcomms for education and not-for-profit organisations.

She headed the marcomms teams for two universities in Dubai and managed the function for two international development organisations prior to that.

During her career, Naheed has managed multiple brand-related projects. These include recreating the British Council brand in Pakistan, post close of public access, and revamp of the University of Wollongong in Dubai’s brand, working with the parent university in Australia

Her portfolio covers research-based strategies, PR projects, generation of leads for the sales cycle, creation of brand guidelines, slogans, advertising copy for all mediums, video scripts, feature articles, newsletters and websites.

Naheed is a Chartered Marketer from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.


Rachel is a communications professional specialising in the production of corporate collateral, media releases, marketing and web content, and is a skilled copyeditor, particularly in an ESL context.

A native English speaker, Rachel has over fifteen years experience of working with private, government, and higher education sector organisations across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

She has worked on projects with the European Commission and the World Bank, and with businesses in the aviation, construction, digital and creative industries, as well as not-for-profit groups.

Her portfolio covers the full spectrum of organisation-customer communications, from speeches for senior personnel to editorial pieces featured in national and regional publications.

Rachel is a Prince 2 certified project management practitioner and a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Public Relations. She holds a masters degree in communications with distinction from the University of Leicester, UK.

Khawaja Minhajuddin

Khawaja is a graphic design and digital marketing professional. His specialisations include concept, creation and technical set-up of websites with a focus on the customer journey and ease of use, and digital communications with a focus on engagement with and conversion of customers.

Khawaja designs mobile apps and software interfaces/form screens (UI/UX) and has worked on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) projects for clients from different industries in many countries.
